About Zombie Merge

Zombie Merge is a top-down survival duel developed by Golem Kin Games. Pinned at the center of the arena, you face a zombie horde pouring in from every edge while a rival survivor battles their own wave on the other side — whoever racks up more points before the 90-second clock expires wins.

The defining mechanic: killing a zombie below max tier doesn't clear it from the field. Instead, it fuses with another zombie of the same type, upgrading into something bigger, slower, tankier, and worth more points. Only the top-tier Colossus (Lv 5) dies permanently. The deeper into a run you get, the more dangerous the horde grows — and the higher the point ceiling climbs.

How to Play Zombie Merge

Score more points than your rival before time runs out. If your health hits zero, you're eaten — the rival keeps scoring until the clock ends, and ties go to them.

Aim and Fire

Your position stays fixed at the center of the arena. The gun auto-fires at any zombie inside its forward fire cone, roughly a 94-degree arc. Click or touch and drag anywhere on screen to swing the gun and aim manually, then release to return to auto-aim.

Watch Your Flanks

Zombies behind you fall outside the gun's cone and won't be shot unless you rotate toward them — but they can still bite you, so keeping track of your surroundings matters.

The Merge System

Any zombie below Lv 5 that gets killed fuses with a same-type zombie nearby, upgrading it to the next tier. Upgraded zombies are tankier and slower but award more points on death. The Colossus at Lv 5 is the only tier that dies outright rather than merging further.
